Priyanka Chopra becomes world’s second most beautiful woman

Priyanka Chopra has defeated famous personalities like Angelina Jolie, Emma Watson, Blake Lively and Michelle Obama to become the second most beautiful woman in the world. In a poll done by LA-based photo, journal, and video-sharing social media network, BuzzNet, Priyanka is just behind Pop diva Beyonce, who is topping the list.
Priyanka Chopra has become a global icon rather quickly. After making a mark in Hollywood with American TV series Quantico, the actress has become a regular at various international events and award ceremonies. Gearing up for the release of her upcoming Hollywood debut - Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson this summer, the actress has just added another feather in her cap. Chopra is ranked at number two on the list of top 30 most beautiful women in the world with Beyoncé taking the lead.
The list is in accordance with a poll ran by a website called Buzznet that received a total of 7 million votes. The actress took to Twitter to express her gratitude. “Thank u Buzznet and all who voted,” the tweet read. “Beyonce is my number 1 too!”
Chopra stands ahead of some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Angelina Jolie, Blake Lively, Dakota Johnson and Emma Watson. Others who made it to the list include Taylor Hill who is on number three and Emma Watson who is ranked at number four followed by Dakota Johnson at number five.
With so much appreciation and accolades Chopra is certainly on a roll. According to Trade analyst Atul Mohan, “She (Priyanka) has smartly chalked out her career because once you’re over 30, you know your chances are bleak in Bollywood and you are very selectively chosen for a particular role or a film. So when Priyanka crossed the 30s, she started venturing out in Hollywood, did shows, cut albums and tried different things in the West and gradually she became stable. I’d say it was a very progressive and well-planned career strategy.”
Let's not forget that last year, the Bollywood star was was named Unicef's newest global Goodwill Ambassador and she works relentlessly with her charity 'The Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education' to help support unprivileged children across India in education and health.
