Sakshi Malik, who won a bronze medal in wrestling at the Rio Olympics, married fellow wrestler Satyawart Kadian in Rohtak on Sunday.
Rio Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik the knot with fellow wrestler Satyawart Kadian in Rohtak on Sunday. The duo got engaged in October last year at Sakshi's residence in Rohtak.
It was a grand ceremony with prominent faces from the sport in attendance, two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar was also present to grace the occasion.
Sakshi became a national hero overnight after she ended India's medal drought at the Rio Olympics by clinching bronze in the women's 58kg category. Sakshi became the first female wrestler from India to win an Olympic medal.
