After the Phogats, These 3 ‘Dhaakad’ Sisters from Haryana Set an Example by Joining Indian Army!

Indian Army

Taking a pleasant break from being in the news as the state with the lowest sex ratio in the country, Haryana is now being lauded for being the state of successful women in recent times. After the Phogat sisters, whose inspiring story of becoming international wrestlers recently hit the silver screen with Dangal, three more sisters from Haryana have made the state proud by joining the Indian Army.

Residents of Kherka Gujjar village in Jhajjar, Haryana, Preeti and Deepti Deshwal, and their cousin Mamta have joined the Indian Army Medical Corps as lieutenants!

According to a report in Rajasthan Patrika, nobody in the family of Pratap Singh Deshwal has been a part of the Army till now. The three daughters of the house, however, dreamt of becoming army officers and their family supported them wholeheartedly.
Preeti and Deepti completed their schooling from Jyoti Prakash School, while Mamta went to Himalayan School. In 2012, the trio was selected in the Armed Forces Medical College but went to different campuses. Preeti was trained in Kolkata, Deepti in Mumbai, and Mamta went to Pune.

The three graduated this year and have been commissioned to different military hospitals across the country. Mamta will be stationed at Military hospital, Ranikhet, and Deepti will be stationed in Agra. Preeti will work for Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Ooty.

The achievements of the three young lieutenants prove that if girls are given the right opportunities and support, they are no less than boys. The credit goes to the girls’ determination and their family’s support.

Happy Birthday Aamir khan: 'Mr Dependable' Khan Has Single-Handedly Turned Cinema Into a Lucrative Corporate Industry

Aamir khan birthday will be special this year. It comes in the wake of Dangal’s record-smashing success, proving once again that strictly statistically speaking, Mr Perfectionist Khan is the Ambani of the movie industry. Besides giving the dwindling trade magazines their moment in the sun with prominent pundits rattling off daily figures, calculations and tallies (the film touched an impressive Rs 380-crore mark making it one of the highest grossing Hindi films of all time) not any different from anxious pollsters spending sleepless nights over UP or Bihar elections, Dangal also wowed the critics.

There was occasional criticism from some quarters, which felt Khan’s “heavy-handed message-mongering” – to borrow critic Jai Arjun Singh’s phrase – weakened an otherwise gripping entertainer. Any viewer who has watched Khan over the years would agree that in the last decade, his films have followed a well-thought out script. He picks a powerful and relevant theme packing one hour of entertainment in it and one of social message.

Dangal box office: Aamir Khan film has broken all these records of the house

Will Dangal become the highest grosser of 2016? The Aamir Khan-starrer is one of the finest films that we saw last year. The blockbuster is getting love and adulation from the audience. Dangal has collected Rs 270.47 in just 10 days. Before its release, the film was being compared to Sultan. Both the films have wrestling as the backdrop. However, Dangal is sprinting towards Rs 300-crore mark. With a whopping profits already, Dangal can soon surpass Sultan's collection of Rs 300.45 crore. In short, Dangal is just short of about Rs 30 crores in smashing Sultan's box office record in the domestic market.

Ayushman khurrana's brother Aparshakti might be jailed for 3- 5 years?

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana's younger brother Aparshakti's reported fight at the airport might land him in jail. While the incident took place in October, the Mumbai police have now filed a 50-page chargesheet, which is going to be presented in court this week.

"Aparshakti has been served a notice and has to be present in court too. If found guilty, he may get a three-five year prison sentence," informs a source close to the development. Aparshakti, who will be seen in a prominent role in Aamir Khan's upcoming wrestling drama Dangal, hosts a cricket show for a TV channel.

The incident took place in October when the staff of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was trying to stop Aparshakti from entering a restricted zone. The video jockey-turned-actor, who was already upset because his luggage got lost, threw a tantrum and reportedly got into a fistfight with the guards.

Dangal making: Aamir Khan’s fabulous body transformation

We have been hearing about and seeing in pictures the body transformation of Aamir Khanfor his film Dangal. But now a new making video of Dangal is out that shows the complete transformation of the Bollywood superstar from ‘Fat To Fit’ – fat because he had decided to put on weight for his film rather than wear a bodysuit that would look uncomfortable. Aamir Khan started putting on weight to shoot the older version of his character, wrestler Mahavir Phogat on whose life the film is based. Aamir’s reason for it was – if he puts on weight first, he will be motivated enough to lose it for the remaining part of the shoot and also for himself. Or else, he will remain fat forever. That would surely have been the end of Aamir Khan’s career as a hero, and so, wise decision, Aamir!

On his birthday this year, Aamir Khan as usual met up with the media but he was looking so slim and with a sexy moustache and stubble! The actor had drastically lost weight in a special training session in US, where shed the kilos by the dozen in a rigorous month-long schedule that could actually be bad for health, he said. To play the younger version of the celebrated wrestler who trained his daughters to be champion wrestlers themselves, Aamir Khan went from 90-95 kg for the older Mahavir Phogat to 70-75 kg for the younger man. The dedication of this actor to the characters he plays has always been unmatched! Look at how he looked in 3 Idiots (college student) and then in Ghajini (first lean then muscular), some of his recent films. And no less in Dangal!
