MCD poll results: AAP on course correction, to focus on Home Turf

AS AAP’s national ambitions came crashing after three debilitating electoral defeats — Punjab and Goa Assembly polls, the Rajouri Garden bypolls and the MCD polls — the party is headed for a course correction, focusing on its home turf Delhi and deferring its expansion plans in other states.

Cabinet minister Gopal Rai, who was recently appointed organisation building head for the three poll-bound states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, was appointed the Delhi unit convenor late Thursday evening following a Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting at party supremo Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence.

If all went well in the Punjab assembly elections and the municipal polls, Rai was set to emerge as the key strategist and organisation building head of the party.

Bahubali 2 Movie Review: Bahubali the Conclusion is Bigger, But not Better

For two years the nation has been wanting to know, the hysteria increasing with every passing day: why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? Smart viewers would probably have glommed the answer, but given that Baahubali 2 was made expressly for that purpose, we duly give it our time and attention.
We get the answer, but only after long, infernally silly romantic interludes: romance is not really S S Rajamouli’s strength. And everything after the big reveal, which really isn’t half as big as was promised, seems like anti-climactic excess. At the end of nearly three hours, I can tell you that the second part is not half as satisfying or fun as the original.

And the reason is clear: sequelitis. Together with the singular lack of a plot interesting enough to hang a query on, Baahubali 2 comes off as too much sound and fury signifying little.

Baahubali 2: Beyond why Kattappa killed Baahubali, 6 questions that Baahubali The Conclusion must answer

In coming day, the nation, no, scratch that, the world will find out the answer to the question that has preyed on their minds for the last two years since everyone watched director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning. And that question is, ‘why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? In fact, this one moment has made the wait for Baahubali 2 release excruciating. The twist in the end of the tale became a rage for many reasons. One, maybe it was too much of a shock for fans to come to terms with Baahubali being killed after showing his physical and mental prowess in the war against Kalakeya. Two, it was more shocking to fathom that the loyal king’s guard Kattappa is the one who stabbed Baahubali. It won’t be wrong to say that Kattappa was like a father figure to Amarendra Baahubali. Not just that, he was a true friend who fought besides Baahubali in the battlefield. He wanted Baahubali to defeat Kalakeya as much as any other member of the audience so that he can ascend the throne of Mahishmati.
And we can give 10 other instances that prove Kattappa’s undying love for Baahubali. Not to mention that Kattappa pledges his loyalty to Shivudu aka Mahendra Baahubali the moment he realises he is his slain master’s son. But, still, he killed Baahubali. So we can understand the reasons as to why the fans the world over have been hung upon why Kattappa killed Baahubali? But, they are really missing the big picture here.
We may have never seen an incomplete film like Baahubali 1 before, perhaps that is the secret of its mammoth success. We can tell good people from bad people in the film but we don’t know why the story of Baahubali came to the point where Kattappa turns into a backstabber. There are important unanswered questions, which we have overlooked this two years as we were too busy trying to crack this one mystery. With Baahubali 2, we are hoping that SS Rajamouli answers all of them.
Here are the six questions that the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer will have to deal with when it lands on Friday.
1) Sins of Sivagami
2) Is Amarendra Baahubali really dead?
3) Who is Bhallaladeva’s wife?
4) Why Bijjaladeva wants to kill his wife Sivagami?
5) Avantika and team
6) Will Baahubali find out Bhallaladeva’s true colour?

Noor Movie Review: Sonakshi Sinha, Your Journalist Needs a Fact Check

Noor the film is as mixed up as its female protagonist of the same name: it gets some things right and the others horribly wrong. First, the good stuff. What a delight to see a woman fronting a film, even if Noor’s (Sonakshi Sinha) character is somewhat of a young Bridget Jones template: she peers at a bag of chips as if were an enemy (right, she’s got weight issues); she hangs out with a guy (Kanan Gill) she’s known for ever, back-slapping him (of course, the realization that he’s something more will dawn at an appropriately late stage); she has no compunction about making moves on an attractive available male (Purab Kohli) even as she voices anxieties about the state of her love life, or the lack thereof; and so on.

IPL 2017 Preview: Delhi Daredevils eye fresh start against depleted Royal Challengers Bangalore

The second match of the day sees Royal Challengers Bangalore lock horns with Delhi Daredevils in their own backyard. An injury-hit Bangalore side started off the IPL 10 with a loss against the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad. Bangalore is one franchise who have lost a major number of players due to injury. KL Rahul was ruled out of the competition while skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are also missing the initial stages and this has had an impact on their performance in the first game.
While Delhi Daredevils on the other hand seem to be promising with their current line up. They consist of a combination of hard hitters and bowlers who can be brutal on their day.
What’s under the belt
Royal Challengers Bangalore might have lost the momentum in the beginnings but their batting abilities can anchor them back on track with authority. Chris Gayle, Shane Watson and Kedar Jadhav are presently the names in that tally  who can make a difference in the results for Bangalore.
Delhi Daredevils seem to be a fresh bunch with a lot more and talented bunch of cricketers roped in. Carlos Brathwaite and Sam Billings’ ability to smash the ball hard can turn tables for Delhi.
Limitations
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have always faced a problem with their bowling abilities. The leakage of runs in the death overs pushes them on the back-foot.
Delhi Daredevils’ batsmen need to chip in at crucial stages and give big partnerships and capitalise on the starts they get.
Players to watch out for
For RCB, flamboyant batsman Chris Gayle can prove to be the most important player especially in the absence of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
Delhi Daredevils would depend upon the West Indies player Carlos Brathwaite and would expect him to repeat the World T20 feat to give them a flying start. On the other hand youngster Khaleel Ahmed is the one on whom the Delhi side can bank upon.
Delhi Daredevils consist of a bunch of youngsters while an injury-affected Bangalore would be looking to gain their winning ways back with this clash.

Sunil grover, Please Forgive Kapil Sharma sunil Pal's Heartfelt Apology Makes a Srong Case For Kapil-Sunil Patch -Up

The never-ending spat between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma is heartbreaking not only for the fans of the duo but also for other comedians who want them to patch-up. Sunil Pal posted a video on his Facebook account and urged Sunil Grover to return to The Kapil Sharma Show. In the five-minute video, Sunil said, “You are a big artist and people appreciate your talent but don’t forget an artist gets to deliver his talent only when he gets a big platform. Both, you and Kapil have made the show a success and you two are the wheel of the show. And I am afraid that both of you will not be able to achieve anything separately.”

Priyanka Chopra becomes world’s second most beautiful woman

Priyanka Chopra has defeated famous personalities like Angelina Jolie, Emma Watson, Blake Lively and Michelle Obama to become the second most beautiful woman in the world. In a poll done by LA-based photo, journal, and video-sharing social media network, BuzzNet, Priyanka is just behind Pop diva Beyonce, who is topping the list.
Priyanka Chopra has become a global icon rather quickly. After making a mark in Hollywood with American TV series Quantico, the actress has become a regular at various international events and award ceremonies. Gearing up for the release of her upcoming Hollywood debut - Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson this summer, the actress has just added another feather in her cap. Chopra is ranked at number two on the list of top 30 most beautiful women in the world with Beyoncé taking the lead.
The list is in accordance with a poll ran by a website called Buzznet that received a total of 7 million votes. The actress took to Twitter to express her gratitude. “Thank u Buzznet and all who voted,” the tweet read. “Beyonce is my number 1 too!”
Chopra stands ahead of some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Angelina Jolie, Blake Lively, Dakota Johnson and Emma Watson. Others who made it to the list include Taylor Hill who is on number three and Emma Watson who is ranked at number four followed by Dakota Johnson at number five.
With so much appreciation and accolades Chopra is certainly on a roll. According to Trade analyst Atul Mohan, “She (Priyanka) has smartly chalked out her career because once you’re over 30, you know your chances are bleak in Bollywood and you are very selectively chosen for a particular role or a film. So when Priyanka crossed the 30s, she started venturing out in Hollywood, did shows, cut albums and tried different things in the West and gradually she became stable. I’d say it was a very progressive and well-planned career strategy.”
Let's not forget that last year, the Bollywood star was was named Unicef's newest global Goodwill Ambassador and she works relentlessly with her charity 'The Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education' to help support unprivileged children across India in education and health.

Quoting a source, a report in The Times Of India suggests that Sharma has been given a month’s time to prove his worth and high remuneration. If things don’t improve, then the channel might take the show off-air. This isn’t an easy task as the other key members of Kapil Sharma’s formidable crew have decided to part ways with him.
Apart from Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar also fetched a lot of TRPs for the show.
Though Sharma is trying his best to sustain the momentum, new comedians have failed to lift up the spirit of the fans.
