Ayushman khurrana's brother Aparshakti might be jailed for 3- 5 years?

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana's younger brother Aparshakti's reported fight at the airport might land him in jail. While the incident took place in October, the Mumbai police have now filed a 50-page chargesheet, which is going to be presented in court this week.

"Aparshakti has been served a notice and has to be present in court too. If found guilty, he may get a three-five year prison sentence," informs a source close to the development. Aparshakti, who will be seen in a prominent role in Aamir Khan's upcoming wrestling drama Dangal, hosts a cricket show for a TV channel.

The incident took place in October when the staff of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was trying to stop Aparshakti from entering a restricted zone. The video jockey-turned-actor, who was already upset because his luggage got lost, threw a tantrum and reportedly got into a fistfight with the guards.

Los Angeles: Indian biopics MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Sarbjit have made it to the long list of 336 feature films eligible for the Oscars. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the list of films in contention for the best picture Oscar on Wednesday, reported Entertainment Weekly. To make it to the 2016 Academy Awards list, feature films must have played in a commercial theater in Los Angeles County between 1 January and 31 December for at least seven consecutive days.
The exhibited theatrically on 35mm or 70mm film, or in a qualifying digital format, must have a running time of more than 40 minutes.

Saif kareena have right to decide their baby's name says Omar Abullah

Srinagar: Omar Abdullah has criticised those who made fun of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor for naming their newly-born son Taimur. The former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister says that it's their right to decide the name of their baby and the opinion of the rest doesn't matter.

After the star couple announced their son's name as Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, social media users went on to vehemently troll the couple. They questioned why they named their son after "the Turco-Mongol conqueror Timur".

Abdullah hit back at people on Tuesday night and posted: "The only people who get to decide a baby's name are the parents of said baby and the ones they ask. Why should opinion of the rest matter?"
Another tweet by him read: "So congrats to Saif and Kareena and a long happy life to their baby son. May Taimur Ali Khan have a happy and healthy life."

Bride-to-be who wanted to surprise groom by arriving via helicopter dies in crash just one mile from venue

A bride's childhood dream of arriving at her wedding by helicopter ended in tragedy when it crashed just a mile from the venue.

Rosemere do Nascimento Silva, 32, had planned to surprise her fiancé Udirley Damasceno and 300 guests by swooping in to their reception in a rural area on the outskirts of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

But in an horrendous twist of fate, the aircraft crashed en route to the venue, killing the bride-to-be, her brother, the pilot and a photographer who was six-months-pregnant.

IT's been 18 years since the first instalment of the 1920s-set Mummy trilogy starring Brendan Fraser – and almost 85 since the story was first brought to life in the black and white filmstarring Boris Karloff. And so the franchise is being rebooted, now set in the modern day and starring Tom Cruise.

A full-length trailer for the new big-budget has now been released, and contains a surprise twist: there's more than one undead lead character.

The Mummy follows an ancient Princess, whose destiny was unjustly taken from her. Safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, she is awakened in our current day bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia, and terrors that defy human comprehension from the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London. 

The film is the first instalment of a new Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe series of standalone – but linked – films in the style of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and will see classic monsters like Count Dracula and Frankenstein's monster brought back to the big screen.

The Invisible Man, starring Johnny Depp, is scheduled for release in 2018, and other movies featuring the Wolf Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon are also in the works.

The Mummy co-stars Oscar winner Russell Crowe as Dr Henry Jekyll, suggesting that a Jekyll and Hyde thread will be weaved into The Mummy story. 

Directed by Alex Kurtzman, The Mummy was filmed in Oxford and Namibia this year and sees Cruise playing a heroic ex-Navy Seal. The film also features Annabelle Wallis (King Arthur, Peaky Blinders), Jake Johnson (Jurassic World) and Sofia Boutella (Star Trek: Beyond and Kingsman: The Secret Service) who is the first female actress to play the lead villain in the Mummy franchise. 

Dancer shot dead by drunk guest at marriage function

A 24-year-old dancer of an orchestra group was shot dead by a drunk guest at a marriage function in Maur town late Saturday night. The guest allegedly shot Kulwinder Kaur in the head when the troupe stopped a group of men from dancing with them on stage.

Police registered a case of murder against six persons and have also identified the one who killed the woman from the CCTV footage at the venue. Bathinda SSP Swapan Sharma said Ashirwad marriage palace owner Jagsir Singh was arrested for allowing weapons on the premises.

The incident occurred when the orchestra group from Sardulgarh was performing at the wedding of a local commission agent Narinder Kumar's son. According to eyewitnesses, some guests at the function wanted to join the four dancers on stage but they were not allowed by the orchestra group. Angry over this, one of the guests, Lucky Goyal, who was allegedly drunk, fired at the dancers with his .12 bore gun, killing Kulwinder on the spot.




The victim's husbad Rajinder Singh said, "Narinder Kumar had booked the orchestra party for the marriage of his son. Some persons were dancing and tried to go on stage but were stopped. Lucky Goyal, who was also stopped, fired at Kulwinder. The bullet hit her in the head."



Kulwinder was taken to hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

In the three-and-a-half years since the debut of The Wyatt Family in WWE, all three members -- and especially Bray Wyatt -- have been involved with one high-profile rivalry after another, but until Sunday night, none of them had ever held a title at this level.

That changed in a hurry at TLC, as Wyatt and Orton predictably decimated Slater and Rhyno to become the second team to hold the SmackDown tag team championships.

Slater and Rhyno received some great reactions from fans in the lead-up to their tag-title win but Sunday's match provided them a quick dose of reality about where they stand in the pecking order during their entrance. Despite being the "bad guys" in this rivalry, Orton and Wyatt got a hero's welcome, while Slater and Rhyno came in to relative silence.

As WWE announcer Mauro Ranallo pointed out, Rhyno began the match for the tag team champions for the first time since they began tagging with each other, and once Slater was tagged in ring it was clear why that was --- he appeared overmatched in almost every way against Wyatt and Orton. Slater took a beating for a good chunk of the match, but Rhyno seemed to do what he had done best for their entire reign as he cleaned house upon re-entering.

The most interesting wrinkle of all happened in the closing moments of the match, when Luke Harper emulated Orton's sacrifice from Survivor Series and ate a gore from Rhyno to save Orton outside of the ring. Orton then grabbed the blind tag, hit an RKO on Rhyno and sealed the victory to tremendous applause.

There might be dissension among the ranks of The Wyatts down the line, but for now -- as was clear as both Wyatt and Orton draped their new titles over Harper's shoulders -- it appears they are as well-aligned as they've been since Orton joined.

Akshay donates Rs 9 lakhs to family of jawan whose body was mutilated after killing

Once more Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has come to the aid of a family stricken by the death of a jawan in Jammu and Kashmir border.

On November 22, suspected Pakistani troops killed three soldiers and mutilated one of the bodies near the border.

The news of Akshay’s donation Rs 9 lakhs to the family has not come from the actor who prefers not to talk about such things publicly.

Chandra Singh, father of martyred jawan Prabhu Singh confirmed the news appreciating the actor’s gesture: “Akshayji had called and he transferred money to my account, he said I should use this for the education of his sisters and daughter. He extended more support if and when there is a need.”

The actor managed to get the contact details of the 25-year-old Rifleman Prabhu Singh of Rajasthan, whose body was found mutilated, and spoke to his father an ex-army jawan himself, who is now paralyzed and after an emotional chat he transferred Rs 9 lakhs into his account.

Rifleman Prabhu Singh left behind his father, wife, three sisters and a six-month-old daughter.

Director Sujoy Ghosh's Bollywood movie Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh (Kahani 2) starring Arjun Rampal and Vidya Balan, has received positive reviews from the audience.

Kahaani 2 is a suspense thriller, which is the second instalment in the Kahaani franchise. The movie revolves around the story of a mysterious woman, who is charged with kidnapping and murder. Sujoy Ghosh has written the story and screenplay in collaboration with Suresh Nair, while Ritesh Shah has penned the dialogues for the movie.

Vidya Sinha (Vidya Balan) wants to see her paralysed teenage daughter Mini (Naisha Singh) walk again. When she tries getting close to silent Mini, she lands in problem with the latter's uncle (Jugal Hansraj) and grandmother (Amba Sanyal). Things take an interesting twist, when cop Inderjit Singh (Arjun Rampal), who is in search of kidnapper and murderer Durga Rani Singh (Vidya Balan), enters the scene. What happens next forms the crux off the story of Kahaani 2.

The audience say Kahaani 2 has an amazing story with a message that has never been explored on Indian celluloid. Its screenplay is thrilling and intriguing right from the first frame to the very last. Sujoy Ghosh has once again managed to thrill his audience, who are likely to sit on the edge of their seats while watching the film. 

Vidya Balan plays a double role and she has done justice to both of them. Her stellar performance is the highlight of Kahaani 2.
